AMMT-020 Polyurea Anti-Corrosion Coating

Component A of AMMT-020 polyurea anti-corrosion material is modified quasi-prepolymer and component B consists of amine-terminated polyether, amine chain extender, nanofiller and pigment and is shaped by spraying on site. The technology unifies new material, new equipment and new process together, breaking through the limitation that the polyurea/polyurethane material must be used with supporting primer in the past, and it can be directly sprayed on the surface of steel base material.

Application:


AMMT-020 polyurea anti-corrosion materials are mainly used for the chemical equipment in the petroleum, petrochemical, oil field and chemical industries, such as storage tank, carbonizer, salt water tank and other steel chemical storage tanks as well as wharf, steel pile, offshore platform and other coastal and marine facilities.

Construction description:


Construction condition: Temperature of coating substrate: minimum: 5℃; maximum: 45℃ 

relative humidity: less than 90%; surface temperature of substrate: at least 3℃ higher than dew point temperature. Both the humidity and temperature shall be measured near the substrate. Outdoor painting is not allowed in rainy, snowy, foggy or strongly windy condition.

Construction method: Spray by special two-component equipment. Airless spraying

Spraying pressure:  15-20 MPa

Nozzle diameter: FTM0438/0624

Diluent amount: It is forbidden to add

Precautions: No dry spraying

The spraying pressure and nozzle dimension may need adjustment based on the specific requirements for spraying performance.


Tool cleaning:


Special diluent or methyl ethyl ketone


Surface treatment:


Direct coating: Level Sa2.5 sand blasting, with a surface roughness of 55-70μm.

Primer coating: Coat polyurea materials directly in the effective coating interval of special polyurea primer, which shall be coated again when the effective coating interval is over.


Compatibility:


Pre-process compatibility: able to be used directly; AMMT-016 special polyurea primer for concrete; AMMT-017 special polyurea primer for steel structure.
