AMMT-500 Series Of Multi-Functional Buoyancy Materials

The multi-functional buoyancy material can be divided into (a) machinable solid buoyancy material and (b) pouring solid buoyancy material and it is a kind of lightweight composite foam made by special technology with hollow glass microsphere filled with epoxy resin. Its density is low with high strength and it is poisonless and harmless with good dimensional stability and low water absorption. It has good machinability and maintainability.
(a) Material can be processed by such methods as lathing, hitting, sawing, drilling, grinding and bonding; buoyancy materials of different shapes and sizes can be processed by splicing and bonding modular building blocks according to the users' design requirements, facilitating the on-site assembly.
(b) Material consists of A and B, 2 packages of liquid components, they are used by mixing in proportion, pouring in situ and curing at room temperature; this material has low viscosity and good liquidity, levelling property and permeability, facilitating the repair and crack pouring on the site and suitable for the condition that the prefabricated solid buoyancy material cannot be adopted for the cavity structures of complex shapes; so these 2 kinds of materials can be complementary each other.

Construction description:


The construction process is generally divided into 3 steps

  1. Machining: machine the solid buoyancy material billets according to the users' shape and size and obtain the standard building block modules.

  2. Splicing and bonding: grind, splice and bond the standard building block modules. The bonding surface is smooth and the bonding layer is even.

  3. Material shaping: carry out the finish machining and external shaping according to the drawing requirements after the bonding and curing of the standard building block modules. Complete outer protection and decoration according to the users' requirements.


Compatible materials:


Multi-functional buoyancy material can be bonded and repaired with our company's or the recommended epoxy resin adhesive and putty. According to the users' requirements, the buoyancy material surface shall be sprayed with our company's polyurethane elastomer outer protective coating and decorative coating.


Supply and packaging:


(a) Material is bonded and assembled with the building block modules according to the users' requirements, or supplied and configured according to the users' shape and size.

Supplied in the form of square billets in the size of 300mm × 300mm × 100mm; 200mm × 200mm × 100mm. Cartoned.

(b) Material with 2 packages, with A component of 5kg/barrel, B component of 1kg/barrel.


Storage:


This product shall be storaged in the warehouse of cool, dry and ventilated, away from heat and fire sources.


Safety:


There is dust during processing of the buoyancy material billets, so the construction site shall be free of open fire and kept well-ventilated. The construction personnel shall wear masks and other protective articles.
