AMMT-DP100 high-performance viscoelastic damping coating material is a special material that can effectively reduce the vibration of the equipment and prevent the spreading of noise. The material uses the constraint damping structure, including free damping coating material and restraint damping material.
The free damping coating material is a polyurethane material of blade-coating type without solvent. The product is of two-component, and component A is isocyanate prepolymer, and B is the mixture of polyether polyol, chain extender and functional filler.
Restraint damping material is a kind of epoxy resin material of blade-coating type. The material is composed of two components. Component A is mixed of epoxy resin and filler, while B is amine hardener. It forms the constraint damping complex structure with free damping coating material.

Features:


The damping temperature range is wide and the loss factor is high.

In the temperature range of 60℃ (-10-50℃), the free loss factor is 0.7-2.2; the complex loss factor is 0.13.


High fire resistance:


Oxygen index of material: 37%; the complex coating meets the demand of the flammability test (low flame spread) on the surface of the facing material of the 2010 International Code for Application of Fire Test Procedures of International Marine Organization.


High safety:


Meeting the demand of GJB11A-1998 (90 days) toxicity test


Excellent anti-corrosion performance: 


The constraint damping complex coating is of good performances such as salt-spray resistance, acid and alkali resistance, oil resistance, seawater resistance, and hot-wet resistance. It is suitable for various corrosion environments such as ocean and industrial air environments.

The high-performance viscoelastic damping coating is composed of damping layer and constraint layer. Firstly, it's necessary to blade coat the damping layer on the substrate with antiseptic treatment, with the theoretical thickness of the damping layer being as 1mm; the remain part is the constraint layer; the thickness of the whole coating is suggested to be 1.5 to 2 times of that of the substrate.
