The polyurethane primer is a two-component primer composed of isocyanate prepolymer, modified curing agent, filler and additives. The product not only has strong adhesion to concrete and steel structure substrate, but also has excellent adhesion with one component / two-component waterborne coating and spraying polyurea elastomer. It is a matching primer for polyurea series products in the field of substrate protection.

The metal substrate should be sandblasted to Sa2.5 grade. For weld defects, the burr and protuberance should be smoothed by grinding wheel to make the whole substrate smooth. If manual grinding, angle grinder can be used to grind the metal surface. The grinding is required to be uniform without omission, and the dust shall be cleaned. Finally, organic solvent (such as acetone) is used for cleaning. Before construction, ensure that the surface of the substrate is clean and free of oil, dust and other impurities.
The surface floating ash and loose concrete laitance shall be removed from the concrete base material, and the alkaline substance on the concrete surface shall be removed by washing. The concrete surface shall be treated with water removal and drying.
· Before use, mix component B thoroughly and evenly, and pay special attention to fully stirring to the bottom of material B during mixing until there is no sediment at the bottom of the barrel. Accurately weigh the required weight according to the weight ratio (A: B = 1:2) of the package, pour it into the batching container, mix it manually or mechanically for 2-5 minutes, and then the construction can be carried out after the mixture is fully and evenly mixed.
· In the process of use, the mixture should be stirred every 10-15 minutes to ensure the uniformity of materials.
· The mixed materials should be used up within 0.5h.
· The primer shall be applied to the surface after treatment within 6 hours. The shorter the interval is, the better. It is not allowed to paint overnight.
· Primer can be applied by hand or roll. When brushing, the required film thickness can be achieved at one time; 5-20% butyl acetate can also be added in the first primer, which helps the primer to fully penetrate and moisten the concrete substrate, and can significantly strengthen the strength of the concrete substrate and enhance the adhesion of the paint film. Check carefully, there should be no missing coating. At the same time, pay attention not to brush too thick to ensure uniform brushing, otherwise the adhesion effect will be affected.
· Under standard conditions, polyurea products can be sprayed 2-48 hours after the primer surface is dry.
The preparation shall be carried out in strict accordance with the proportion. The construction loss caused by the wrong proportion shall be borne by the consequences. The principle of batching is a small amount of multiple times to avoid excessive ingredients at one time, resulting in waste.
In the process of using this product, you must wear work clothes, gloves and other labor protection articles.
The coating temperature is 5-35 ℃, the relative humidity is below 85%, the surface temperature of the substrate is higher than the dew point by more than 3 ℃, and the weather such as heavy rain, snow and sandstorm can not be applied.
Brush and roll coating can be used.
The thickness of the coating film is 100-300 μm, and it is unnecessary to apply too much.
Good ventilation shall be ensured at the construction site, and fire source and heat source shall be isolated at the same time.
The protective effect of any coating depends on the coating construction to a great extent. The construction factors such as surface treatment and film thickness will directly affect the service life of the coating. The user should meet the agreed construction conditions when using this product.
